Six YouTube screens, rebuilt and working
Each copy is built only from our YouTube design system: YouTube's own colour tokens (read live in its Light and Dark themes), its sizes and motion from its own stylesheets, Roboto, and the real icons from the page. Pictures are generated stand-ins and every title, channel and comment is made up, so we never copy a creator's thumbnail, face or words. The originals below are redacted (pictures covered, creator text blurred); the real screenshots stay private and are only used to score the copies.
How to read the scores. "All pixels" compares every pixel with the real (private) screenshot, within 24 of 255 per colour. The stand-in pictures can never match a photo, so we also give "UI only": the same check with the picture areas left out. "Edges" counts only text, icon and line pixels; it falls fast when words differ, and every word under a picture is made up on purpose.
Real or estimated. Colours, sizes, type and motion are YouTube's own values (real) or read from our screenshots (measured). Estimated: the tooltip colour, the share dialog, the "Subscribed" look, and Ambient mode's glow (YouTube draws it from the real video).
Opened on its own, each copy has links back at the top and a bar at the bottom: Light / Dark, Compare with original (drag the line) and Actual size. Keys in the copies: D dark, C compare, / search, k play / pause, j l seek, m mute, t theater, arrow keys for Shorts, Esc close.
