6monday CRM, exactly
monday CRM is monday's sales product: leads, contacts, accounts, deals and a pipeline, with emails, calls and AI agents built in. It runs on the same monday platform and the same design system (Vibe) as monday.com, inside a calmer, light teal frame. This page shows what is special about the CRM, rebuilt from monday's own pictures.

They are two products you buy separately, built on one platform. Everything below the frame (boards, buttons, menus, icons) is the same Vibe design system; what changes is the frame, the boards you start with, and the sales parts.

CRM colours measured
The CRM uses every Vibe colour from the monday.com study (main blue #0073EA, text #323338, all status colours). These are the extra colours that make it look like the CRM, measured on monday's pictures.

Dark & night ours
monday's help centre shows monday CRM in light only. monday.com itself has real Dark and Night themes (see the monday.com study), and the CRM uses the same Vibe tokens, so our dark and night copies use Vibe's own dark and black colours and carry the CRM's teal tint into the frame. Use the switch at the top: every copy above changes with it.
From monday's code
Page, cells, text, borders, hover and status colours in dark and night: all Vibe tokens.
Ours
The CRM frame in dark (#1F2235 top bar, side menu #292F4C → #23293F), dark chips #2C4A52 and a lighter teal #2A93AD for the card's actions.
Watch out
Pictures cut from monday's light screenshots (avatars, the products picture) stay light in dark mode.
Do & don't
What monday CRM does well, and where it slips. Each rule names the Law of UX behind it; click the label to read it.
Do
- Show linked records (account, deal) as small chips with an icon, right in the row. Similarity
- Keep a contact's whole story on one card: details, related accounts, emails, calls, notes. FlowCommon Region
- Keep the key facts pinned beside the timeline. Working Memory
- Show each stage's count and money total on the pipeline. Goal-Gradient
- Put the AI's suggested next step on the card it is about. Zeigarnik
- Let the system fill in what it can (leads, summaries, totals). Tesler's Law
Don't
- Don't put white words on pale sky labels (about 1.6 : 1). Aesthetic-Usability
- Don't fill every header with AI buttons, avatars and "New" tags. Selective AttentionCognitive Load
- Don't show 20 side-menu entries to someone who uses 5. Choice OverloadHick's Law
- Don't offer four places to edit the same contact. Occam's Razor
- Don't mix two accent colours on one screen without a reason (blue boards, teal card). Von Restorff
- Don't show more than 7 facts before "More". Miller's Law
UX principles, in plain words
What makes monday CRM feel easy for sales people.
A CRM that is still a sheet
Contacts, leads and deals are boards: rows and columns everyone knows.
Everything is linked
A contact shows its accounts and deals as chips; one click opens them.
One card per person
All emails, meetings and notes about a contact live in one timeline.
Deals move, you watch
The pipeline shows stages left to right with money totals; drag to move a deal.
Agents do the dull work
Finding leads, writing follow-ups and summarising history are handed to AI.
A quieter frame
A soft teal frame keeps the screen calm so the sales data stands out.
Laws of UX scorecard
All 29 laws from lawsofux.com, each checked against what monday's own CRM pictures show. "Not seen" means a picture cannot show it, so we did not guess.
Lessons for AltLeads
monday CRM is the closest of our studies to what AltLeads does (leads, calls, meetings). Options, not decisions: you choose.
A lead card like the contact card
Option: open a lead as a big card over the list, with the call history as a timeline on the left and the key facts pinned on the right.
Company and meeting as chips
Option: show a lead's company and booked meeting as small chips in the row, like monday's linked records.
A meetings pipeline
Option: a Kanban view of meetings (Booked, Confirmed, Held, Won) with counts per stage.
A next step on every lead
Option: a one-line suggested next step on each lead ("Call back Tuesday 10:00"), like the AI recommendation box.

Where it came from
Only real sources. No login, no bot-check bypass. Where we could not see something, the page says so.
- monday's help centre (support.monday.com) shows a bot check, so we did not open it. We used the public web archive's copies of 45 articles (2025-2026), among them "monday CRM's AI features", "monday CRM AI Lead Agent", "AI Sales Agent", "Emails & Activities: AI summary / AI email composer", "Manage your contacts with monday CRM", "The new Quotes & Invoices", "Sales Gauge Widget". monday's own picture
- monday.com/crm and its sub-pages (features, AI agents, AI notetaker, use cases, industries, SMB, enterprise, what's new), opened in Chrome: 143 pictures and 2 videos. Marketing pictures, used for the gallery and the Deals pipeline copy only.
- Vibe, monday's open-source design system (MIT): the same files as the monday.com study.
- Colour fix: one help picture (Leads) stores Display-P3 numbers labelled sRGB; we converted it back before measuring. The others are ordinary sRGB.
- Ours: dark and night for every CRM copy; the building, $, target and four-point-star icons (monday's own are not in the public Vibe icon set). ours
